Oh when i went to my local knife shop to buy my new sharpener, the salesperson had a knife in every pocket/cavity on his body. Just something wanted to share, would not want to get into a confrontation with knife peeps! Who else agrees, or has similar experiences?

In all honesty, it sounds like the guy is more interested in showmanship than badassery. And I had bad thoughts when you mentioned that he had knives in every cavity in his body...:barf: But I'll leave that alone, lest this thread be moved to W&C.

I can see your point, but I find that the guy who wants to show you how many knives his back can carry before it breaks is NOT the one I would be particularly concerned with.

The "badass" thing is undesirable IMO. It only makes people scared. And when they're scared they want to take knives away.

I don't carry knives in every pocket, but I can understand those who do. Those blades are just too nice to sit in a box all day long!

That reminds me of a guy that works at a local indoor range that I went to during our block leave in 04. Every time he had 4 folders IIRC: an aluminum Civilian, BM AFCK, Military, and Strider AR.... in addition to a handgun locked with 2 spare mags. Made me LOL on the inside when he produced them. He sells guns/knives/supplies and supervises the range... does nothing else.

I only carry a waved ZT0300 and occasionally an auto at home. Even in Iraq I would never be packing a knife store.

A lot of people around here carry several knives every day. I know I never have enough room for more than two.

"Having" and "knowing how to use" is not the same thing.

oh, and I agree with axtalan0. NO foreign objects in any my "cavities".

Edited to add: And what in the dickens is a "PEEP"?

One of those marshmallow chicken things that tastes like pre-chewed goo. Maybe there's a special badass peep who has little candy corn knives stuffed inside.

Edit... I carry two knives everyday, sometimes less if I don't need one or both of them, but never more.

I wonder if the original character prefers to carry tip up or tip down for the cavity knives...

Further, if you shove a "tip down" model up into a cavity is it still considered tip down, or is that now tip up?

I have no idea. I just wanna know if you can use the "lip" of the cavity to effect a wave opening. Never know when you gotta shank a fool on the "A" Yard.
