Knife people in Davis, CA?

Are there any other knife people in Davis?

I've met some semi-knife people, but it'd be nice to meet someone else in real life who's really into knives.
 
Wow, I expected that there would actually be a Bladeforums-ite in Davis.
I guess I'm fooling myself.

What else do you collect besides Sebanzas, stjames? And what do your other Sacremento knife collecting buddies have?
 
I'm a few miles away in the SF Bay Area.

How do you like Davis? It must be hot, I remember what the weather was like when I visited my brother there this time of year.
 
Shoot, I was just visiting my folks in Yuba City a couple of weeks ago - we coulda had a NorCal knife club going on.
 
Davis isn't bad. It's kinda hot, yeah, but only during the summer.
I wasn't in Davis during the summer anyway; I was in Walnut Creek and working in Livermore (even hotter).

We should, if convienent, meet sometime and play with each other's knives. I dunno how busy I'll be this quarter. Maybe taking 3 programming classes at once is not the best idea. Only time will tell.
 
I'm just down in Vacaville, 's a little closer than the rest...
 
Originally from Roseville until I joined the Army. When I'm a free man, I might go to UC Davis if they'll still have me. I spent a couple quarters as Comp Engineering at Cal Poly SLO, but it wasn't for me.
