Can anybody recommend a decent digital camera for taking knife pictures... I would like to pay less than $300. if possible. I find myself needing one more often and I'm getting tired of borrowing one. Or can you at least tell me what features to look for in buying one.

Go to Canon USA and Nikon's sites and see what they have for simple point and shoot.
I like the Rebel but I'm still sticking to film for now because of all the other equipment I'd have to throw away.
I just scan the images.

the rebel rocks in film and digital!
I plan on getting the digital rebel soon, and the best part is I can use all my current lenses, ya can't beat that

I use a Cannon PowerShot A300. It's a 3.2 MP and was under $300.00 through Dell. I got it the same time I purchased this computer.

Fuji FinePix S5000... It's slightly over $300, but for the quality it gives, it's a bargain.

That's just a wee bit over the $300 limit, don't you find?  :D
Great camera, though!

I guess I somehow didn't catch the $ limit :p lol
