Here's a pic of one I finished and sold in late April. It was so close to when Bruce Bump unvailed to the world his hatchet pistol work of art thing that I couldn't stand the competition. I decided to wait til you all forgot how nice it was before posting my pic.
handle is california buckeye burl w/ ebony bolster
two 1/4" mosaic pins and one solid 3/8" brass pin
blade is 1095 and nickel in twist pattern with some simple filework
I welcome all comments good and bad as I am only about 5 months into this knife makin stuff.

Pretty cool, though you shouldn't have waited, some of us can walk down the street and chew gum at the same time, some times that is!:D

How's the nickle affect edge holding?

thats a pretty good looking knife, jeez only 5 months matt? makes me want to rethink my strategys :)

Thanks guys! I asked about the edge the other day and they said it was still bright. We'll see.
Phil, I would love to say that I did the damacsus myself but that's not the case. Stock removal. I bought it as flat bar from a maker an ebay. Maybe someday. Right now I'm still trying to get the stock removal thing down and then I'll work up from there.
