I just wanted to see if that works.
If it works you may see my latest creation.
It is a middle age schmalsax with random damascus blade, bronze and white moose antler grip. Sorry, the photo is not that good. The blade is a tad longer in reality, as i have taken the pic at an angle.
I learned a lesson from this one: If you want to have a good damascus contrast on the whole blade don't do differential heat treating. The designs on the soft blade parts will stay pretty dull.
