Ah friend of mine showed me a picture of his knife opener. It looks like a mini key chain prybar, and is absolutely gorgeous! I believe it has stag covers and it's polished to perfection. Just beautiful.

Do you guys have/use these?

Do you have any pics? Brands you recommend?

No pics, but I have a few of the Case ones that they put out a while back. I love the ones that GEC makes that have scales on them. i never use mine but I like having it. It does come in handy for GEC knives!! :D
 
I wouldn't want a knife that required the use of one, and wouldn't use one on a knife that didn't require one, yet I still find the items themselves and their concept to be pretty neat. Not sure why.

Great thread! Thanks for the link. I actually see one that looks kind of like my friends.

I can certainly see why a QC guy would want something like that at the factory.

Doing a little searching after I posted, I found the GEC knife key's (I think they call them), on their website. I would love to have one in their tomato acrylic. That stuff is purdy. ;)
