Matt of ML Knives, JUST sent me the pics of my new knife. I am SO stoked.

I ordered the knife on 12/10/09 and he sent me the picture of the forged blade 12/23:

Then on 12/28/09 he sent me the pics of this blade:

I had asked for the slabs to be large, but had not specified that I wanted him to taper the scales toward the handles. I asked him to unbox it ( ) and taper them. He was so very cool, did it for me no problem and ONE DAY LATER sent me the finished knife:

What do you think? I am super happy with his customer service, his friendliness, his attention to detail, and his willingness to make changes. I think I may have to order a Kephart from him.

I have actually made up my mind, I am going to order matching Kepharts from him (if this blade cuts as well it looks) and make matching sheaths for them - one for my brother!

I think you referred to me as bro in the past in one of my theads! :D

Very nice blade Tal!

Sweet brother. ML and Blind Horse are on my short list. I have all my other favorites for the most part. Please, once you have time to test the blade out please post a review.

Mine became an instant favorite. I'll be shocked if you don't love this knife.

I got one on the exchange and i love it. the only problem i had with mine was that the handle was to high towards the guard, but it was nothing that could not be fixed. I use it more than any of my other blades. Rotte whats your scales made of?

Here is an old picture of mine.

Ivory Micarta. I like the look of wood better, but it is so dry here that wood tends to shrink up and crack. So I've become a bit more partial to phenolics.

Wow what craftmanship! Enjoy it man. Hope to see ya get it soon and post some pics lol.
