I have used a Schrade and a CRKT knife for skinning game, but have little knowledge about blades in general. I would like to know the strengths, weaknesses, uses, etc of the different blade points. Clip, drop, tanto... Any information would be appreciated. Thank you

Before you enter the forums (ie just typing bladeforums.com in to your browser), on the left, there's the knowledge base. There are plenty of FAQs by Joe Talmadge that would definately explain something that's rather lengthy. Feel free to use the search function to locate pictures that may help your understanding. Joe is a great guy and he's actually going to update his FAQs once again, he's working on the Steel FAQs.
