If anyone is thinking about a small pouch or slip for their small folders I can recommend the AG Russell leather knife pouch. I wanted something for the Canal Street Ring Opener that I recently bought from Thomason and thought I would try one of these. It fits like it was made for it which is good because I have decided to carry my Canal Street at least part of the time. The only complaint that I could possibly have it that I wish it came in tan or brown instead of only in black.

OK. Even though I know some folks here like to poke fun at the use of knife "purses", I'll say that I not only own the same A.G. Russel small knife pouch but also the larger one where I carry knives that are 3 3/4" and larger. They are inexpensive and very well made and they help keep the knife vertical in my pocket plus protected from keys and other stuff. What's not to like?

I also from time to time carry a purse...

I'll have to try one out. Thanks for the recommendation.

I have several I use...some like the A.G. Russell and Bullard's are belt sheaths while the WH and the Victorinox are pocket clips. The A.G. Russell will handle the big folders, even a Case Sharktooth and is a really well made sheath. The Bullard's come in a couple of sizes to handle stockman, trappers, soddies, etc. The WH handles small slippies and the Victorinox handles the smaller SAKs and they do make one for larger models. I use them simply because I hate dinging up my knives against the other junk in my pockets.

Mike Alsdorf ships his knives in a nice leather slip pouch. I like that a whole lot. So much so, that I asked G2 to make me a leather slip pouch for my Vining Bullet.

Absintheur,

Thanks for posting the various sheaths. Since D.M. Bullard Leather are made here in Texas not far from me, I ordered one of their trapper sheaths to give it a try. Thanks again!

I hate to admit it but I use a slip pouch with some knives. The AG Russell pouches are very nice and I have a few of them. If you have a few more dollars to spend Bob Glassman sells some really nice Italian horse hide slip pouches.

Here's a pic of one of Bob's:
