I just got a knife today from PDW that was a pre-order in October (a lot of you will be able to figure it out, but since I don't want to get into a debate about the maker, I'm leaving the name out). I have to say the knife is outstanding. I was expecting to like it, but more than likely sell it at this point. I think now I'll end up keeping it. Is that the general experience/quality level with the stuff PDW gets from knife makers? Are they doing QC after they get the product from the makers? Or are they just working with the makers on a nice design and trying to ensure a quality product goes out with their name on it?
Quality been good on knives y'all have got from them (regardless of maker)? Or does it seem to hinge solely on the knife maker - like if they have bad QC then PDW has to send out crappy knives? Anyone else recently get the knife I am talking about? What did you think?
