question: what was your first knife, & how did you get it? mine: dad gave me a buck 110 for my 12th birthday in 1984.

Another first knife thread, I tried to do a search for older ones but something didn´t work, if you are curious you may try one later.

Anyway, mine was a cheap Mexican made boy-scout pattern, got it from my dad in 1960 when I was eight years old.

How did I get it ? Hmm... practically begging for a couple of weeks until parents gave in and bought me this baby. Still have it and in excellent condition.
