Could anyone tell what folding knife the marine had clipped to his Molle vest in the initial helicopter ride into the FOB? It was only a quick look, at first I thought it was a Benchmade 975, but upon reflection (given it's size/width), I think it was an Emerson CQC-11 or 13? It is a quick part of the scene after they leave Camp Pendelton in the chinooks headed to the FOB. The marine has it on the front right (IIRC) of his molle cover of his IBA.
For anyone trying to recall this scene - There is only one quick flash of a marine in the Chinook going into the FOB with a large folder clipped to the front of his vest with flat G-10 scales and a no-frills black solid looking clip. This is right after or during the time the SSG (acting Platoon SGT) is chewing them out and telling them to get their minds right for combat.
As I said above, I first thought it was a Benchmade 975 or Emerson Super CQC-7, but it looked too wide and in the few seconds I had to process it, I changed gears and it looked like a Emerson CQC-11 or CQC-13.
Opinions anyone?
