What knife or knives have you bought thinking you may not like them? Maybe because of others not liking them.

For me it's the Tom Brown Tracker full size, was worried, but it just works for me, and I make the best fuzzies with it out of every knife I own.

What knives have you bought that you thought you would really like but ended up not? Maybe you heard all of the rave reviews.

I got a few here, bk 2, 9, 16. Just didn't like them not for me gave away 2 of them traded the other. That being said I own the 5 and 10 and love them.

Spyderco Tenacious. Lock is embarrassingly weak. What makes it really unfortunate is that I love everything else about that knife.

ESEE Izula. I have discovered that I hate small, metal handles, especially those on "skeleton knives".

As for knives I bought thinking I may not like them, there are none so far.

ZT560 -don't like the way it feels in my hand or the jimping on the handles, my finger gets sore from it when continously flipping it for my own amusement, I'm a fan of the blade though / Emmerson Commander - wasn't impressed with the construction, beautiful knife though. Lastly, a very hard to obtain Ray Laconico Jasmine flipper, bought it directly from Ray at a blade show in Pasadena. Really liked the knife at first, very smooth flipper but not overbuilt enough for my liking, just sits there.

Esee Izula. Thought it would be too small for my hands.

ZT0350. I like my blur better.

Pleased: ESEE izula 2. I also worried that it would be too small. I'm now addicted, I have several which I edc, and use while hunting.

Not pleased: BM Adamas auto. I have the Adamas folder, which I like, but it was just too big as an auto IMO.

I was very happy with the Gerber Gator 2. I didnt like the BK2, as i found it too heavy, thick bladed and cumbersome.
