Hello All , I have a couple of knives I need help identifying actually more but I will start with 2 , one looks like a ParkerTak fukuta self defender with the writing on it but has solingen steel -ink stamped on it, it is 14 3/4 inches long with black buffalo scales with only 2 copper pins ,with the half horse / gator pommel, is this chinese made or what? The other knife looks cheap with a aluminum handle with the turquoise/pearl added to one side of the handle, I saw one advertised as a Mexican/Vietnam knife its about 9 inches long. any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance Bo

You will get much more help if you include photos of a knife you need help identifying.

Parker Tak Fukuta Self Defender should be made in Japan by Tak Fukuta for Parker. It should be marked Made in Japan on one side and Parker Cut on the other.

Beeinak , thanks for your reply I will have to figure out to load the pictures ,thank you

Sharpbits , that is the knife what I am referring to but this one doesn't have any of that on it, the Parker also has 5 pins one in each corner and one in center, I have a picture on pc just try to figure how to post it lol

If you search ‘how to post photos’, you will get some good info. (Easier with paid membership)
Beeinak , I will probably just do a paid membership, sounds the easiest way -thanks, I have a pretty decent knife collection and most all I know about and few I don't

The Parker looks like a copy to me, but I am not an expert. Tak Fukuta was a Japanese maker and made everything in Japan, as far as I know. The handle looks wrong and the Solingen Steel mark is not correct.

Thank you for that SharpBits , I figured it must be a copy just wasn't sure of who copied it or what company -thank you so much for your replies ,definitely appreciated
