With the approval, and support, of the BCCI, I am running a raffle, open to all current members of the Buck Collectors Club who are not currently paid members of BladeForums.com. The idea is to get more people to help support the work that Spark and his Tech Crew do to keep our forums up and running. So here's the deal, if you are a current BCCI member, and join BladeForums at a Gold, or higher, membership level during the month of May, you will get one entry into the raffle. If you are not a current BCCI member, and join both the Buck Collector's Club and BladeForums during the month of May, you will get two entries into the raffle.

The prize is a Model 532 BuckLock, BG-42 Blade with Satin Finish, Desert Ironwood handles with the picture of an Anvil laser cut and painted into one side of the handles. The knife comes with a soft leather pocket pouch and is one of only 200 produced as a BCCI fundraiser and was sold for $97.00 to Members Only. Some of you members might already have this knife, in which case, this one will give you that extra one for EDC use. If you missed out on the opportunity to purchase this knife when it was offered, this is your second chance.

To verify your entry, please send me a Private Message through BF once your membership has been activated – include your order number. Those joining the BCCI will need to do so by completing a membership application found here www.buckcollectorsclub.org. All qualifying entries will be put into a hat and the winner will be drawn at the Buck Collector's Club meeting at the Blade Show in June.

Any questions - post them here and I will answer for everyone. - Good Luck !!!! :D

(I will be posting a picture of the knife just as soon as I can...)

I'm not quite sure who the "ONE" person you are refering to is, but I know several individuals that have more BUCKS that I can count. I can only dream of being one of "those" people someday....

Dan,
I've used a 110 when they first came out,now I like & use a 560! My ? is it's a great user BUT what started you collecting them!!I know, people collect what they want! To me Buck is known as working knives, you sure didn't start collecting Bucks to get rich SOOOO!! Sit down ,when you have some time & think about what started you,why you like different Bucks anything you can think of,what Buck are you really looking for or have you got all the Bucks you want .Is your collection complete(according to you)!! Not trying to be a pain just curious, never asked anyone before!
Jim

BTTT....

Jim, I'm working on an answer for you. You really started a "thinking process..." :D

OK - for the record - No One took advantage of this offer/raffle so therefore no one was eligible to "win" the BCC-532. I guess this one was a bust. Maybe the next "idea" will be a better one.... :( :( :( Perhaps, if there's some interest, we can try something like this again. If anyone else has any ideas about helping to recruit support for either BladeForums, or the BCCI, we are always open to suggestions. Feel free to email one of the club officers, or myself, for more info.

I'd also like to extend a personal apology to all for not promoting, or keeping this thread at the top better. Somewhere along the line of my surfing, I managed to pick up a pretty nasty virus/worm thing that had my system out of commission for a couple weeks. I was able to check in occasionally but was getting knocked off-line so quick I barely had time to post anything. My email was also affected.... yea-ha!!!! Everything seems to be in working order now, hopefully !!!

I was interested, but oddly enough I'm not a bcci member.. have to fix that someday..

and I havent forgot about the other thing Gypsy.. I CANT FIND IT!!! for the life of me.. I know it is out there somewhere.. bah..

Ya know, if you had found that other "THING" you probably could have joined the BCCI and BF.c ...both.... oh well!!! :p Don't worry, your wife will find that other thing when you move...just don't let her take it to the flea market with the rest of "this ain't worth moving" things......
 :D

Take Care Bro !!!!
