Hey guys, I am looking for a beater knife. My budget is about 60-80 dollars. I just want a knife that can take beating and come back asking for more. It does not have to be limited to a folding knife though, and I am not limited to any size of knife. Thanks!

Manix 2 if you want a folder.

for a folder get an endura or a manix 2 and for a fixed blade the izula is really hard to beat for the price

In your price and use range, Rat, Ka-Bar, and Buck will have new folders available. You can pick up second hand Spydercos or BM models from the exchange here. A second hand Izula or Becker FB shouldn't be hard to find and should fit your cost requirements. Don't overlook the $30 Buck 110 or 112. They've been doing that kind of thing longer than a lot of BF members have been alive.

To me a beater should be as cheap as possible, so you have no problems doing tasks with them you really shouldn't.
I actually use cheap Chinese branded knives for this but if you want a western brand I can recommend the CRKT Drifter.
It has superb (perfect) fit and finish. The action is aright as well, super smooth when you loose the pivot screw a tad. (but not centred when closed and some horizontal play then)

Anything in Spyderco's economic line are quality. Persistence, Tenacious, Resilience. Although to be honest there is only so much a folder can take.

Thanks guys, after thinking it over I bought a zt 0350 in the exchange. Thank you guys for the input, and because of your suggestions i now know which knives to add to my list to buy:D

Defiantly manix. The ball lock is way stronger than the axis lock, despite the b.s. hype around benchmade
