Knife recommendations

Hey guys I'm looking for a combat knife along the lines of an SOG Seal Pup Elite. I'd like the price to remain around the same level as the Pup but if there is a knife that you reckon is completely worth the money then I may be willing to spend a little extra. I am looking for a knife mainly to carry while I am in uniform but can also take out field with me and be reliable.

How about a SOG Seal pup Elite!

Seriously though, an Esee 3, 4, or 6 might fit the bill. On the pricier side the BRKT Bravo 1 or 1.5 would be a nice option.
 
The Seal Pup is a pretty good knife for what you want.

They may not LOOK like the Seal Pup but alternatives I would look at, and among my favorites for the purpose, are:

-CRKT Ultima - maybe the best handle for such a knife I know of. Sheath is a little bulky.
-Ontario Ranger Kerambit EOD - Arguably the best basic, no frills kerambit out there.
-TOPS/Buck CSAR-T - Mighty fine, tough knife; I have the little brother to it (CSAR-T liason) and love it.
-Browning Backlash - for something that LOOKS the part; stainless steel pommel and hand guard.
-Gerber Guardian - Old standby. American made. Tanto. And a TacHide handle that is great for grip.
-Puma SGB Boot Knife - a recent find for me. Might be my next booter. Nice lines and efficient build. Good looking.
-BokerPlus Mosier - as a nice wild card to throw in. Probably the least known. Very basic but looks good to me.
-HK Conspiracy - First, it's a Benchmade. Second, it's a tanto. 58-60 Rockwell. Minimal sheath. Great G-10 'gatorskin' grips. Probably the most down-to-business.

If none of these are to your liking there are a lot more out there.
 
A fighting knife that'll look good on your uniform? For around $88 you can get a IBBB (micro bowie) from Himalayan Imports. Those knives are tough as nails as well from what I hear and are super classy lookin.
 
I like some of EChoil's suggestions, and would add these for consideration:

- Gerber Yari II
- Gerber Prodigy
- Buck/TOPS Nighthawk
- Benchmade Nimravus
- Zero Tolerance 0160 Shifter
 
I second the Nimravus but it's outside your price range.

A few other price related options are:

-Becker bk17
-Ka-bar Short fighting knife #1256-1258
-COld Steel SRK (same steel as the pup)

Here is a pic of the Becker which is a great choice.
