Knife Refinishing

Who specializes in knife refinishing? Looking to have an aluminum handle and blade finished in black an od.
 
I'm not sure where you live, but a Google search for "metal coaters" may turn something up in your area.

You didn't say what kind of coating you're looking for? DLC? Oxide? Cerakote? Powder coating? Anodizing?

A local gunsmith may be able to help you as well.

While you might find a knife maker willing to do coatings for you, I doubt there is a metal coater that specializes in knives. There would not be much of a market for that considering most manufacturers provide coated blades already. And if you go the custom route, I'm not sure many makers would invest in the equipment and chemicals needed to support limited requests for specialized coatings. Many makers offer a stonewash type of finish, but I rarely see custom makers that offer choices in blade coatings beyond stonewash or acid etching, unless they farm it out to a third-party.
