Does anyone know of any knife related desktop themes and or screensavers?

I have seen some shareware that you can download off the net to make your own screensavers using .jpg images. I tried this once and it worked quite well. You download and install the main program and then set up a separate folder in which you store all the images you wish to use for the saver and then configure the saver to pull images from whereever you have that folder stored on your HD. And you could monkey around with transition effects too. IIRC the program was titled Make Your Own Screen Saver. Try inputting that into a search engine; I'm not sure this is still up and running though. But I'm sure there are other programs out there like it. Hope this helps!

While surfing the net, if I see a knife pic I like I right click on it and click "set as background". It might also say "set as wallpaper". It seems that lately my wallpaper has been dominated by Strider knives.

As for screen savers, there is one with windows that will flash a bunch of pics up. Sellect that screen saver, and then click properties. You can add whetever pics you want to the screensaver, and change the delay (time between pics) too!

I do that, periodically changing my wallpaper, and one I come back to frequently is a Neanderthal holding a spear with a stone spearpoint. (Back to the basics!)

There are some wallpaper images on my site. Click here to have a look.

While there are some decidedly "knife" images there, I've also tried to provide some "less knifey" images that one can use in environments where knives are less appreciated. These can server as a good "conversation starter." A coworker, for example might see this

on your screen and ask, "What in the world is that crazy wallpaper you've got there?"

Now, you can start talking about knives and it's ok since they're the one that started the converstation.

I used to work for a company that made data communications equipment including some cards for PCs. We found that the way to get the PC the hottest inside was simply to run the "flying windows" screen saver. Nothing we could find made the poor computer work as hard as that stupid screen saver. If you wanted the PC to cool off inside, just run the "black screen" screen saver. Generally speaking, things last longer when they run cooler. So, I use the black screen screen saver.
