Knife Related Internship

Hey everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone has ever worked with a knife business i.e. Benchmade etc. or a knife maker for a summer internship. I'm currently a Junior at NCSU in Business Finance and was just wondering if there were any local opportunities. I've always wanted to try and mix my passions with my career. Any advice or resources with information would be appreciated. Thanks again!
 
I'm not aware of any knife manufacturing in the Raleigh area. It would be possible to get sales experience, but that doesn't sound like what you are looking for. It might be worth hitting the websites of manufacturers and checking to see if they have a "careers" section with employment opportunities. Or contact them since internships may be separate from their regular job openings. Also check with the school's placement office or the office that coordinates co-op opportunities or internships (probably separate offices). You should be willing to travel out of state for these jobs and there may be opportunities overseas if you are into that.
