My wife is starting to ask me for Christmas ideas. Unfortunately, the things I want are $400 knives, which is more then she's thinking of spending on me for some reason. :) So I was looking online trying to find anything else 'knife related,' and figured I'd ask for ideas. I'll dig through the REI catalong that arrived today next, I'm sure I can find something there, but what "Knife" stuff is out there that's not a knife?

we should make up some BladeForums gift certificates! Good for upgrading your account or towards a purchase on the Knife Exchange.

Diamond hones or other sharpening media.

Look at flashlights, they are as addictive as knives. Go to Candlepower Forums and it is the same discussion except about flashlights. Typical common discussions include:
What is the best ...?
How does this compare to that?
If you only had one...?
I'm looking for a... whatever.

Once I discovered the world of flishlights, knives got moved back a notch.

Everyone should have a good knife and flashlight on them at all times.

Are you a hiker? Maybe a new backpack, tent, shoes, etc?

Sharpeners aren't a bad idea.
