Knife review and testing

Yesterday I received a review of one of my knives in the Knife review and testing forum.

I felt compelled to answer the thread, but I believe it would be odd or perhaps a bit out of line to answer it.

It is a very fair review of my hard work and I feel that the tests performed were an idea example of practical use. I don't feel that the review was bias because he did in fact find a minor flaw in my work. To me it's all about the collectors who have enough trust in my work to feel confident about using my knives. A 2000+ grit hand finish is typical of my knives and after reading the review, the fine finish holds up great. I don't believe many of you have actually seen my work in person, I know Danbo from Little Rock last year and SDouglas and Badexample have both used my knives in the field and reviewed them here.

The review has placed pride in my heart and honor in my shop.

Thank you,

Dale,

You make, without a doubt, a very solid and user friendly knife! I am lucky enough to have handled your work, a fellow Indiana enthusiast friend of mine owns one of your knives. Last I saw it, the knife had a dark patina from all the use it had seen. I do know it's prepared at least one meal I've eaten at his house.

Great knives from a great maker!

Dale,
it was a pleasure to review the knife. It's really one of my favorites, and will be tucked in my belt as often as possible. :)
