I got this on steepandcheap last week for about $50 shipped. I don't really know why I bought it, I guess I just wanted to check out an SOG.
My everyday knife has been a Kershaw JYDII for the last couple of years. It's done pretty well by me. There are a couple of things about it that drove me nuts but I got used to fixing it. I carried it clipped to my right front pocket, and I used to catch the clip on my seat belt on a regular basis. That would bend the clip out and it wouldn't stay on my pocket until I got home and got my hands on a hex wrench and bent it back into shape. If it did slip out of my pocket and hit the floor it almost always opened up.
FFWD to the Twitch. It has a much stronger detente to close than the JYD did, probably because of the assisted opener. I tossed it on the carpet a couple times to see if it would open and it doesn't. The clip doesn't have that stupid curve out at the tip so it doesn't get caught on anything.
It's a significantly smaller blade than the JYDII, which I like a lot. I feel much more in control of the edge. It's thinner too. My pocket doesn't feel so crowded.
I like the shape of the tip, too. The JYD has a broad tip, the twitch has a narrow tip. It's better for getting behind what I need to cut.
I sure did like the G10 handle, though.
Oh yeah, it's sharp. I cut the tags off a couple bungee cords with it today. Like buddah. I haven't needed to cut anything else yet today, but it's fine so far.
I've seen a couple other reviewers write about play in the blade on the SOG. I don't have any play in mine, it's pretty solid. I've also heard about the safety being a pain in the butt but I don't think so. I like having a safety. I don't need to deploy my blade in a blur of self defense action, I just need to get the thing open with one hand and cut what I need to cut quickly and efficiently. So far so good.
I give it a thumbs up.
