Following up on repeal in 2022 of Virginia’s ban on automatic knives and this year’s repeal of the state’s ban on concealed carry of these same knives, Knife Rights’ good friend Delegate Lee Ware has introduced HB 11 that would remove dirk, bowie [sic] knife, stiletto knife and razor from the list of weapons that cannot be carried concealed.

Knife Rights will let you know next year when it is appropriate to contact your Virginia legislators to support HB 11.

We sincerely appreciate the support for this effort from our good friends at the Virginia Citizens Defense League and especially President Philip Van Cleave.

Knife Rights is America’s grassroots knife owners’ organization; leading the fight to Rewrite Knife Law in America™ and forging a Sharper Future for all Americans™. Knife Rights efforts have resulted in 44 bills passed repealing knife bans in 28 states and over 175 cities and towns since 2010.

This is great news! Thanks to everyone involved on this. I live in VA, don't have any auto knives. Just not my flavor of cutting tool. But I am very happy to have my rights being less infringed on and more options available.

As someone who's carried a pistol since I was 18 and a pocket knife as a tool seemingly always. I find it almost odd knives are so heavily restricted when I can carry incredible firepower on me darn near anywhere in VA that is far far more lethal than a pocket knife. But its the pocket knife that's bad?
