Some good, some bad, some ugly in this write-up, but I for one love to see Doug Ritter's efforts getting some national attention. Hope it's ok to post it here:

Would be nice if this got picked up by more outlets. The write up is pretty thin but does shine light on the subject.

Knife Rights should set up a database of portable knives crossed with local laws. Let folks punch in the ID of any particular knife and find out if they could get arrested for it by zip code. Once people realize how capricious the laws are surrounding knife possession they likely be a lot more supportive, no matter where their feelings rest on the broader issue of the 2nd.

The NYC challenge could easily go the SCOTUS, Manhattan DAs office isn't going to concede an inch on this.
