By a 14-1 vote, the Oklahoma House Judiciary Committee has issued a DO PASS recommendation on HB3367, Knife Rights' Knife Law Preemption bill. Sponsored by state Representative John Echols, HB3367 very simply adds "knives" to the state's existing Firearms Preemption Law.
Representative Echols introduced and passed HB2170 last year which removed assisted-opening knives from the list of prohibited weapons in Oklahoma. Knife Law Preemption is the next step in protecting knife owners rights in Oklahoma.
