Knife Rights
A Sharper Future
Essential Tools - Essential Rights

We are now moving forward at warp speed with our plan to launch Knife Rights (formerly known as the United States Knife & Tool Association - details at www.USKTA.org ) including a new professional class web site KnifeRights.org to replace the original at www.USKTA.org. The new site will have to include the ability to accept credit cads for memberships and to make donations to the Foundation, etc. Initial content will consist mostly of that already existing at www.USKTA.org with some additional materials related to signing up members. The eventual goal is to grow it into the site outlined at http://www.uskta.org/uskta_website_draft.htm .

As a non-profit organization start up, needless to say, we have a very limited budget. Just to make is a wee bit more challenging, it has to be up and operating no later than January 10, 2007 in time for a SHOT Show launch. Time is short and getting shorter.

We are exploring multiple avenues to accomplish this and on the theory that we should make use of all available resources, I figured that some of the knife enthusiasts here might have the background and experience and inclination to help. If you are interested and capable of assisting or have a recommendation for someone we should contact, please contact me ASAP at dritter@USKTA.org

I've got an exam tuesday and wednesday this week, but if you still haven't got a developer by thursday, e-mail me and I'll start cracking away. That said, I'm not a professional developer, merely a knife-interested student that has done some web dev stuff in the past.
