Unofficial:
IBFG stands for International Blade Fighters Guild. It's an organization that Tom Sotis runs. His style is "AMOK" -- a Filipino based blade art, heavily based on his studies with Grand Tuhon Leo Gaje.
I've been to two of Tom's seminars so far and found both to be quite informative. He is definately one of the better seminar teachers I've come across in the 21 years I've been studying martial arts. His seminars are very well run, and the subject matter is well organized, progressing from technique to technique in a fairly intuitive way. Tom also presents the *concepts* that drive the techniques in a clear, concise way. In my mind, it is this conceptual information that makes an effective martial art out of what might otherwise simply be a collection of techinques.
You can find out a lot more about Tom Sotis and the art of AMOK on his web page http://www.knifefighting.com/ . He also hosts a forum at his site, which can be gotten via various links, or if you want to go directly there: http://www.knifefighting.com/gnk/forum/index.html
