i wanted to get my boys a couple of knives that might actually mean something to them. My oldest is 15 and youngest is 12. I was thinking of a couple of hunting knives. Any suggestions?

I was looking at some of the Whiteknuckler knives, but don’t know much about them. They would probably prefer a folder too.

I just picked up 4 knives for my 4 boys And I tried to match each one with their personalities and needs. Flippers for the older ones and a Buck collectors edition 2 pack for the youngest that came in a tin box seeing that he is a budding young collector himself. When it comes to hunting knives I have zero input but I have a feeling you will have dozens of ideas by 6:00 pm or sooner;). I hope you have as much fun choosing a knife for them as I did for my boys.

Hunting folders always make me think of Buck. They have classy 110’s and 112’s with upgraded steel and scales. There is even a retailer that specializes in Buck exclusives—brain farting on the name, but someone passing by will be able to throw it out. Buck has a custom shop too.

For fixed blades, I think Lionsteel has some good options that are classy but won’t break the bank.

I second this. Buck knives make fantastic gifts

SK Blades Bucks, a Silver Fox and a Goodfella, similar knives, different sizes, pretty much around 200 bucks for both.

Something like this, or get a couple of GECs. Lockbacks like a 72 or a Mudbug if going bigger.

I agree with the other guys. For $200 SKBlades is probably where you need to go. The offerings look pretty good.
