Knife sharpener storage and review- Kadet

I got a TSPROF Kadet a little over a month ago. Initially preordered the elite with the tsprof stones. They were crap. The grits just did not go nearly high enough. I bought the venev set after and am very pleased. The kadet with the venev stones was exactly what I thought it would be. My next problem was how do I store the stones, strops, clamps,.... I purchased an apache 3800 case and kaizen foam (30mm in the lid and 57mm for the base). I plan to add a 5mm piece of abs to the bottom of the foam and run a handle through the top to make the layer more of a tray. Overall pleased with the case.

Wow! That is a very nice setup, much nicer than what I made for my Spyderco Sharpmaker.

I have a small plastic tote with some 6x2 and 8x2 stones, strop, compound, and lighted magnifying glass heh.

Thanks. I actually thought about it when trying to store my knives. I have found the 30mm kaizen works pretty well for all of them. People were using the knives in vertical position for folding blades, but I have a dozen or so fixed blades and this wouldn't fit vertically and horizontally was an inefficient use of space. With this tray style design, I can fit 4 or so trays in one of these cases. Knife case is an apache 4800.

Additional for the knife case lid, I plan to add the tools kit, lube, and other maintenance items.
