Hmmm, a question we hear a lot nowadays...lol. The best thing for you to do to figure this out is to do a search on this site for the word "sharpen".

You will find gigs of info and threads on how, when, why, and where to buy any number of sharpeners, and which ones are worth buying.

With this info, it should be fairly easy to whittle down your options to something you think would work for you.

Here's a couple I found for you:

Survey seems to point a lot towards sharpmaker from Spyderco. I agree. It is a fairly solid and versatile tool for sharpening a range of blades. I use it, 'cept for reprofiling....I haven't really got that one down very well yet. But, there are options there too: benchstone, lansky/gatco devices, etc.

Its all in the search pages for you...a good tool, and usually you wont have to wait for us to respond..cuz its already there!!

Looks like everybody has a good experience with sharpmaker. anyone know where i can get it at a good price ?
