knife sharpening systems

Hey am new here and just got my first real knife a bravo-1 anyways I always use a DMT Magna guide guided sharing systems that has always work well for most of any knife or edge have used it on any one know of anything better that's also as compact and where is best place to learn and buy a strope.

Read the "stickie" at the top of this section re: strops for all the information and instruction on the proper use of a strop. You can buy one from any knife sharpening supply store, or make one yourself from a strip of leather, or just use an old leather belt. Lots of good information in the other stickies about different knife sharpening systems, or how to just use a stone, etc.
By the way, welcome to the forum. Lots of information available, by using the search function, or just post a question, an stand back and get lots of answers.
