I have a custom made bowie thats about 15" overall with 9" blade 1 1/2" wide.
I am looking for a plain leather sheath for it for under $60. I got a couple of quotes from knifemakers but they all charge $80 or more. I paid $160 for the knife and if I get a sheath thats $100 the price of the knife is actualy gonna be like $260. thats not what I had planned. i got a kydex sheath with the knife but i don`t like the way it tears the blade when i pull the knfie out. So anybody know anybody that makes sheaths, plain, not special engraving, just two pieces of leather sawn together? I was thinking of making it myself but by the time i buy all the tools to make one its gonna cost me $50
