Some days ago I found this one:

It seems to be a version 4 variation 2.

but it came with an ugly sheath from an unknown provider.
Does any of you happen to have a matching pouch that you can give away?
For sale or trade? I have some Sheath for fixed knives or folder to swap.

Best,
Haebbie

Took some pictures but forgot to post them.
Here's the the knife together with the sheath

Thank you, Gordon!!!

Best,
Haebbie

I would have to dig out my 2 line inverted and look, But wondering how far off that sheath is, Haebbie??

Silver snap, one line BUCK.... Just curious.. Sorry,,,no time right now to dig out the herd and look.

I never would ask whether it's the correct sheath when Flat assesses
that his sheath comes from the same timeline as the two line 110 on top.
But by order of Flatlander I query if that is correct. Well then, would
you please tell us your opinion? Thank you.

Best,
Haebbie

Indeed, Larry please take a look a offer your opinion. I believe I have the right sheath in my pile of sheath that I can get to Haebbie and his 110; but lets hear what you guys think so I can zero in on the right one.

Haebbie,,, I apologize in that I worded my comment poorly. I trust Gordon that his sheath is correct.

What I was curious about, is your sheath in the pic you posted. Its a good looking older sheath and I was just wondering what time range it comes from.

I will now dig out my two line inverteds and see what sheaths they are with. Sorry I haven't been around.. little busy.. Doing it now... :o

I may not be much help. The couple that I dug out are different varations, in that one has a brass pivot pin and the tiny scale pins. The other has a stainless pivot pin, but with the tiny scale pins.

However in both cases, the sheaths have the silver snap with one line Buck. On both sheaths, the 110 is stamped up above the belt loop and the loop is the higher loop where the sheath would ride lower on the belt.

Again, these two may be slightly older than yours, having the tiny rivet pins and yours appearing to have the larger scale pins.

Well ok,,,went to the eye Dr. today and he gave me a prescription for glasses so take this with a grain of salt. :o

None of my two liners are as nice as yours!

I'm sure that sheath you found is correct as all the 2 liners had the same two small pins. It was during the 2 dots when they changed pin size. The top of your sheath is it scalloped and not straight rounded? DM

Yes,,,not cut straight across.

The sheath has the stamp below the belt loop and the loop is low, that the sheath rides higher on the belt. And,
David, the upper edge is not scallopped, it is straight. What does that mean?

Best, Haebbie

The early 2 dots came with the scalloped top sheath. But thinking about it I'm certain I've seen two liners with a square top sheath that were new. My two liner came with this style sheath but it was'nt new in the box. It had been sharpened and not used and I'm certain this was the original sheath. So, perhaps Buck did the scalloped top sheaths for only 1-2yrs. (or less) and went back to the square top sheath. As I've seen many of the large pin 2 dot 110's with the squared top sheath. I see very few of the 110 sheaths stamped at the top and I know thats early. DM
