the best knife selection in the state is ODOMS true-value hardware in spartanburg.
1 hour from columbia....
they have a nice selection of factory items.
The usuals.

I saw a Wm. Henry lancet there for $130 the other day...cheap!

You might also try Simpson's Hardware at Palmetto Plaza in Sumter. They have Spyderco, Benchmade (including autos), Gerber, Meyerco, Buck, and others. There are two Simpson's, only the one at Plametto Plaza has good knives.

Shawn,
Besides the 2 stores mentioned, there are 2 gun stores here in Rock Hill that have pretty good selections,....NICHOLS STORE[right off I77] and CAROLINA SPORTSMAN. In Ft Mill, there is THE KNIFE SHOP, with a good, varied selection.

Right across the state line on I20, in AUGUSTA Ga, is a gun/knife/police supply store, SIDNEY'S, that has some very interesting pieces. Lotsa old AL MAR, BERETTA, BLACKJACK, EK. Current production BM and SPYDERCO and CAMILLUS. A little of everything else. Very nice guy that owns the place, Steve Fishman, tell him I said hello. You will enjoy the variety at SIDNEY'S.
