Knife shops in Chicagoland?

Does anyone know a good knife shop in Chicagoland? I cannot seem to find a good shop with quality companies like Spyderco, Benchmade, Chris Reeve, Kershaw, ESEE etc.

If not, are there any good knife shows?

In Chicago city limits 95% of a knife store's inventory would be illegal to carry. Which is probably why they're not on every street corner.
 
Yeah, that is in the actual city. I was wondering whether there was a store in the general northern IL area.
 
Cabelas, Richards sporting goods (not sure if the real name is cut out here....) both have a selection of knives. Not what you would want but they have some. There's a cabelas within 20 minutes from woodfield mall.

I usually buy online as you can get the best deals that way
 
I sent you message on who probably has the best selection i'n northern il I'd suspect their prices are much higher then the Internet. They are just west of cabaleas. Cabs has a decent selection but no Esee or chris revees. Might want to check out Kane county fairgrounds website they might have some knife shows. They have had some custom makers at their last gun show. I was running late so I didn't have time to look around.

Also, idk if I'm supposed to post links or not. Check out ebosshoss dot com. Idk if he has a brick and mortor or not but the site has a phone number And it's a Chicago area code. I think he deals mostly in high end customs though.
 
Shore galleries, right outside the city in lincolnwood. GAT guns in dundee.
