I will be heading down to Key West this weekend and wanted to know if anyone knows of any knife shops in the area.

I dont know how far the keys are from ft lauderdale, but I do know that in ft lauderdale they have a basspro shop that has an awesome knife selection. The only down side is that the prices are close to retail on some. You may want to check and see if they have one there.
Also if I go somewhere and want to look for knives I usually look for the gun stores, or sporting good stores, and then of course you can ask the people there if they know of any other places (use phone book, ect.). Also places that are close to the ocean usually have small stores where you can find scrimshaws. I went to a small store in Maui and found scrimshaws done on spydercos, saks, crkts, frosts, ect.

I haven't gone down there in a year, but there use to be a pretty nice Bass Pro shop along the keys about 1/2 down to Key West (North side of US-1 right on the waterfront). Expect a few knives, nothing really special, but plenty of fishing gear if you are so inclined. They use to have Hemingway's fishing boat on display in their showroom (Yup- Big place).
