I was at the Gator Cutlery Club knife show in Lakeland, FL yesterday. Lots of cool stuff to see and I came home with a couple new ones. Quite a few others I would have liked to take home but I can't have everything!

First up I got this old Camillus rope knife

And this small kukri style knife from Citadel in Cambodia

And last but not least this #50 pattern fixed blade by GEC from 2007 in snakewood

It's got the acorn shield on the back side!

Agree with Bob, nice haul. The Camillus looks to be in great shape.

Phil, those Citadels have a great reputation, and the #50 is a pretty rare one, I think, being in 440C stainless. Looks like you had a grand time!

Nice bunch, Philllll, but the Camillus is special!!

Thanks y'all!

The Camillus is in great shape and I got it for a song. Saw a bunch of other rope knives too, a couple with bails and manicure blades, and one big honkin' Miller Bro's.

Other highlights included lots of beautiful old Schrades with peachseed jigged bone, one chap who had an amazing collection of boy scout knives, a perfect condition Shapleigh Diamond Edge doctor's knife (I was absolutely drooling over this one but he wanted $600 for it!), a whole bunch of old Russell grandaddy barlows, the list goes on...

That snakewood GEC is a rare one ineed, 1 of 17 according to GEC's 2007 totals.

Nice finds - thanks for the pictures!

best

Heavy-duty haul, Philllll; you must be happy! Like several others, the rope knife really grabbed my attention!

Philllll, just like the distributor that will be having an #10 SFO in the near future, the shield will be on the pile side. He explained it so as the shield is visible while in the sheath:thumbup:
