Also a couple (or more) of "Forged In Fire" contestants will be at the show. Come & meet them in person :)

I attended last years show when it was a two day show. There were a fair number of good vendors listed but by 12 Sunday 40% of the tables were empty and dealers were packing up. That doesn't make me want to take a day to go back. Maybe a one day show is a better idea.

The most disappointing thing for me was being offered knives by "dealers", made by custom makers who's tables were empty and who had brought those same blades to the show, at 20%+ over what I could commission the same piece for.

I'm not against guys selling their stock and making a profit, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth when they do that early on, then leave the public (who are supposedly the reason for the show, and who's entry fees subsidize the whole thing) with either nothing to see or an added cost. I purchased four knives. There were at least two others I was offered that I would have been happy to take home if I could have bought them off the makers table.

Agree with you 100% & that's why we made it a one day only show. That should eliminate maker to dealer sell-offs & buyers will have a better chance to buy directly from makers. Hope to see you there.

Eisman might be thinking of the Pasadena Show, which is no longer.
This is a one day show with free entry and parking. Very relaxed atmosphere. I like it because I get to chat with customers and they can handle my knives without feeling they are in a race to get to all the tables. Some of my best repeat customer relationships have been made at this show.
I am working hard to have a some new knives available and debut a new design.
I look forward to seeing you all at the show

No, I'm not. I lived in Pasadena, I generally know where I am in So Cal after 25 years there. As you can see the OP knows exactly what show I was talking about.
