I am thinking about going to upcoming knife show at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center next month. I have never been to an all Knife show. Who will be there?

I am not real sure as to the size of the Covington Show, and I am also unsure of who or what will be there. I have never attended, but I am planning on going to this one. I do know it is a NKCA show and that you can contact the NKCA business office at: 1-800-548-3907 for information. I have been planning on calling them, but have not got around to it yet. Hope this helps!

So any other forum members planning on attending this show?

The show used to be arcoss the river in Ohio and was a good show to go to, not sure what's it like now. If you love knives and never been to a knife show only you will be in heaven.

Hmm, don't know about a northern KY knife show, but soon as I get back to TN in April I'm going to the Bob Pope Gun/Knife show at the Nashville fairgrounds.

I've been about four times, don't think I'll get there this time though. Anyway it is a good sized show. I'd say about 50% of the show is usually "traditional" slipjoint folders. 20% customs (increasing of late), 20% "modern" Benchmades, Spyderco's, etc.
And of course two-three of supplies, steel, etc.

There's a real tall guy, dark hair and a beird, usually has some nice pieces as well as some kydex sheaths for spyderco's, etc. I don't know his name though, but I always look for him. He had a prototype stellite folder I used to think about getting.

Blade Mag. has the show listed March 10-12. It might be a good idea to call the above number and get more details/directions, etc.

I hope to be there at some point. I missed it the last time. I haven't been since they had it at the Shriner place actually.

DaveH,
I think I know who you are talking about. Is his name Josh? He usually has all kinds of goodies with him, and some Mike Sastre sheaths.

Them:"What's that clipped to your pocket, a beeper?"
Me:"Uuh....yeah, something like that."

Is this show mostly for dealers or do makers come out for it as well? Thanks.

Dave H, Paul,

The tall guy's name is Josh Propster and he usually will have a number of quality peices with him at good prices, as well as my Concealex sheaths for the Spydercos and others. If you want to identify other Forums members just wear BF t-shirts if you got 'em or carry BF Native. Blue G-10 easy to spot.
