For those of you in the Southern California area, I just thought I'd let you guys know that the Pasadena Knife Expo is this weekend. It's a nice show that I've been attending as a looker for many years. This year I decided to get a table. Here's their website: http://www.knifeexpo.net/

I'm surprised they even allow knife shows in Kalifornia...

Why? Auto's and Balis are the only knives they have trouble with.

I live in SoCal and I can legally carry any length folder. And fixed blades can be any length as well, as long as they are open carried.
Knives are only slightly regulated here, guns however, don't get me started.

Bah, I'll be in CA two weeks from now - you guys couldn't wait for me to get there before having a knife show?!

Can't tell you how glad I am that you'll have a table, please bring enough knives!

So just go and look around. You don't need to spend your money. In the past ten years I've been going I think I've bought two knives.

its more the money to actually get there, normally I'd take the train up to Irvine and crash with either my brother or grandma, but then there's an hr drive from there to Pasadena or I could drive my motorcycle, but that still needs some fixings. Any way you split it, still costs money to get up there and us poor college students seem to just have money for rent and food.

plus I just scrounged up all of my pennies to get the bm 710 in m390 :o:p

however, if you ever feeling like swinging by the costa mesa/ventura shows I will be more then glad to say hello

Argh! 140 miles and 2.5 hours worth of driving, only to get there and remind myself that I can't spend any money. :grumpy:

Someone be sure to have extra fun for those of us just out of reach (financially, mostly).

Ill check the show out. It seems like most people are aiming for Saturday, so I am too.

Anybody have a list of exhibitors?
For whatever reason SoCal Blades does not publish a list.

There are usually a mix of makers from old to new and smith vs stock removal. There are new makers like me to more well known ones like Ray, Pohan Leu, D'Holder, etc...

See you guys there! Perhaps we should wear something to show we're bladeforumates.
