I would like to see your photos from knife shows, just photos from knife shows. A description is welcomed of a picture, but just traditional knives. Puukkos, bowies, slipjoints, lockbacks. Anything old timey or with an old timey feel to it. I hope we can keep this thread going. Old shows or recent ones.

This is from a past show in 2012, OKCA show in Eugene OR. Two full days of pure heaven on a stick! Yep, that's me and GunstockJack!

Well I gotta tell ya, most guys that go to knife shows ain't there to shoot pictures.

As you know, I got to attend my first knife show yesterday. It was fantastic. I didn't get many pictures because I ended up having two excited kids with me and most of my time was spent corralling them. Here are the shots I did get:

Mr. Ken Erickson and his sportsman knife with my daughter:

Ms. Courtney Daniels and my two munchkins holding up the knives that she gave them through the Queen Kiddo Knife Program:

Here's my kids in front of what was billed as the world's largest pocket knife. They really got a kick out of it.:

Perry is right, carrying a camera at a knife show is pretty cumbersome, but I did take a bunch at my first BLADE show in 2010. Here are some of the better ones.

Really great pictures, Jeff and Cory! It's impossible to put a price on moments like. Cory it looks like you might have a couple future knifer in those two kids of yours, they do have that overly excited look in the eyes.

Ok,
I have lots of knife show shots but they are Buck knife displays. Maybe the Mods will be kind if I tell in advance that you might get a glimpse of a non-traditional knife. Just quickly go by that. I also have photos of winners, Buck family members, and the Buck club aisles at the 2014 Blade Show. I can do more B.S's. if you want. I will put it on link from Buck forum, in effort to not violate Traditional code as much as possible. Remember you will see people and a few of those other knives, plus a lot of traditional Bucks. 300

I will go ahead and stick in the Blade Show 2013. Much the same displays above, but it gives a little better sence of how you get swept up into collecting a particular model and maker. I know some of you feel that way going to the annual Case event. Or even going in to SMKWs in Tenn.. The feeling of family and friends sort of sweeps you up and away and before you know it you are a knife collector. and you are fixing up a display to show everyone who walks by. Lots of questions get asked and answered about your knives. You also get to get in early before the public door is opened. 300

If someone thinks this is a improper posting just let me know and I will pull it.

Wow, that is quite a picture show there 300Bucks, almost feels like I was there.

Cool! I forget his name, but I met a BF member at the Mason Dixon knife show when he lived in VA, and the show was in Frederick MD. He was 110dave maybe? Big dude, nice as pie, and his wife passed from cancer several years after I met him. He had a stunning 110 display. I told him I was not much on the regular 110, but was enthralled on the many different custom and one off versions of the 110, especially Yellowhorse 110s. He took quite a few of his knives out of the case. I forget what his user name is now, but he was very good people. Great to be able to meet him at the show.

I am not sure if this counts, but here are 3 nice traditionals I picked up at a gun show about a month or so ago. The local gun shows always have people selling traditional knives.
