Spyderman - Unfortunately, you just missed several shows. Winston-Salem's Southeastern Custom Knife Show was in September. Here's a link for next year's show:
http://artknife.com/makprof/mcnabb/NCshow.html

There's also the Tar Heel Cutlery Club Show in Winston-Salem in November.

A bunch of us forumites get together about 10 times a year in W-S and Charlotte for the C&E Gun and Knife Shows. Here's the schedule:

Of course, the BLADE Show in Atlanta's not a bad drive...

Hope this info helps.

Blades, Spyderman, ptpalpha, Tobii3, TAutry ... Time for y'all to hook up with us at some shows! The more, the merrier.

Blades - Yup, we always hit the shows on Saturday. We usually meet at a vendor's table immediately after the doors open, walk the tables for a few hours, grab lunch and play with sharp pointy objects, then hit the show again for a few more hours. Not a bad way to spend a day.

BTW - we're officially known as the North Carolina Knife Knuts (NCKK). Here are the charter founders:

Bottom row - Chris Raymond (CPR), Bobby Tucker (RJT), Michael Yates (DeadinNC), and Gary Graley (Honorary Member from Pennsylvania

I'll see y'all at the Charlotte show on 12 Feb. The last one was a great show and I had a chance to meet several of the NC Knife Knuts.

In the meantime there are 4 January 2000 gun and knife shows in SC for anyone wishing to venture south of the border:

Jan 8-9 Charleston, SC Gaillard Auditorium
Jan 15-16 Columbia, SC State Fairgrounds
Jan 22-23 Columbia, SC Jamil Temple
Jan 22-23 Florence, SC Civic Center

CORRECTION: The 8-9 January Charleston show was listed as a gun show in the American Rifleman. I contacted Gaillard Auditorium today and it's a Civil War Memorabilia show.

Mark -we meet at 9:00am (as soon as the doors open) at Tim Langston's table. Plan on lunch at Bubba's BBQ about 11:30am. I look forward to seeing you again. Bring lots of nice toys for everyone to play with.

Hey NCKK,

Barry and I might make the short drive down from Danville to Greensboro and take a look around. Hope to see you all there.

Is the Greensboro show at the coliseum, the coliseums web site only says gun show for the 29th and 30th. Thanks.

Spyderman - please feel free to join us Knuts in our escapades! I recommend you to come to the Charlotte show with us - it's probably one of the best around the state in terms of knives. Just let our grand poobah (Kelly) know a few days in advance
