howdy folks exp the bcci guys
i wanted to let all you that might be in florida feb first
that the GATOR CUTLERY CLUB

is haveing their anual knife show
dates are Feb 1,2,3 at the Lakeland Center , lakeland , FL
this show is on the BCCI list of Shows!
and there are normanly 8to 10 bcci members there with tables
i KNOW that there are many bcci guys in florida and i encurage all to come out !
and to thoes not in florida the weather at that time is great and
orlando with all its neat things to do is about 20 miles away
so it is possable to combine family vacation with knife show!!!

then the Shenandoah Valley Knife Show will be held at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds near Harrisonburg, Virginia
on April 5, 6 & 7, 2013 this show is VERY heavly attented by BCCI members and some times members of the Buck familey !

then there is the grand daddy of all knife shows - the Blade Show in atlanta, ga
this show is a major show on the BCCI list as club busness is attented to then ...
it is may 31 to JUNE 2 .. in the 6 0r 7 years i have been to this show i will tell you that
any reasonable motels sell out a good bit ahead of time!!! yes you can get rooms at high end or very low end!:(
for 5 years now i have stayed at one called cobb gallera and if you call soon and tell them you seen internet rate of 59 they will honor it
the cobb sells out every year and is deacent palce to stay ... not that i am pushing them jest chating ... ;)

so there are THREE GREAT BCCI shows before the shindig at Post Falls
which is july 30 ( i think ? would some one post the dates ect here?)

i hope to make all four and hope to see my old and many new friends there!! :D

post here if you might [or wont] be attending one of the shows!!

FYI there is a show that is in Fort Worth Texas this i think will be their 2 ed or 3ed show
i heard it was well attended by some BCCI members and
would hope one of then that has been there will post here the details !!!;)

note if you know of any other shows that are well attended by BCCI collectors
please post information to thoes shows also!!!:thumbup:
i know i missed some in the past as i didnot hear of them in time to make plans!!

I will miss the Lakeland show again. Will still be out walking from one end of our beautiful state to the far end.

I might be able to make Shenandoah, probably miss Atlanta again, but will definitely be at the BCCI 25th in Post Falls.

i should be walking through somewhere near your neck of the woods in a week or so. Wanna walk 20 miles that day??

well there are two well known bcci collectors near or in dallas that have been to that show...
i have thought of it my self as it is close to my daughter in dallas

wow but that i wish i could but not with the artifical knees ... the last one was jest put in 5 mos ago
and it is NOT stable if i get the least tired!!
but i keep cold water in the fridge so give a hollor and i will meet you with some!!!!

I was asking if you knew for sure someone was going to a show in that area. The two guys you mention, have not said anything to me about doing displays in the DFW area. The show they last displayed at, to my knowledge, MOVED back east because of costs. There are couple of small G and K events in FW, but I know nothing of other BCCI members doing displays. I was hoping a major event would occur in that area and I would organize a BCCI effort. 300
 
Hey Dave, I live in Harrisonburg and attend the Shen Valley Knife Assn. show. I have never met or talked to any member of bladefourms before, but would love to something like that. Think it would be a hoot! I'll make a "wwells20" tag and hope to see you there. Probally be Saturday.Last year I took my step-son and it was great. There were a lot of buck knives!!

well buck sway and i both were there last year!! and i have been there for the pryer 4 or 5 years
ya likely stoped by my table and seen all the 110's there but did not know who 'sway and i were!!

yes my friend the show that was north of dallas relocated to tenn after he cancled a show to be with his daughter when she had her babby...then they went up on his cost..
there was one that i heard of that was haveing its first show a year ( or 2) ago

now there be a few other Gun and Knife shows and the bigest one i have been to and there were not that many knives there IMHO..
i thought one of the two 124 collectors went to it ... dang i hates miss placeing my brain ... but am not sure now..
i thought of the Apr 13-14 - Oregon Knife Show - Eugene Oregon might be one i would to get to but
gosh .. to much cost to get to the ones i need to get to now!

I understood it was a typo, and Thank God I niver make one of those!. Actually It was my way of trying to find out the actual date of the Atlanta show, since I live in the Atlanta area. :D
 
Yeppers! I'll just head on over there (wherever there is) and just hang around until you guys show up. I probably ought to bring my lunch, reckon?

Thanks for the heads up Dave, are you going to have a display at the lakeland show?
Deer season will be over with so I might be able to get down there.
 
The Buck Collectors Club Display At Shenandoah totally blew me away! I have never seen anything like that! I can't wait to get back there this year!

omg .. sadly this year, due to going to the post falls shindig ... buck sway and i will not be able to make the virginia show this year ...
my sweety said she would like to go to the post falls shindig with me !!!
( and she being so much more better looking then bucksway ... well that choice was easy! )
post falls for me will be close to a 2,000$ trip ...
so sadly due to limited funding some thing has to give (liveing on fixed income is not easy..)
virginia is over 450 $ in fule alone .. motel jacks it to over 700 range ...so that one gets cut out..
(pays for my sweet hearts ticket!)
but next year clint and i both plan on being there..

i will be able to make atlanta and bucksway said he would go with me
if any of the readers here have never been to atlanta
wow ... is all i can say... it is the big top circus of knife shows!!
 
I wish I could come....sigh
Hope you guys have a good time and I expect a knife show loot thread:D
