Knife enthusiasts,

I'm planning to attend the Oregon show next month.
I do not know how knives are generally paid for...
Do most buyers walk around with wads of cash, or do
many makers/sellers accept credit cards?

Thanks in advance for advice.

Chris!
The wife(Luana), and I will be at the Oregon Knife Show next month also, and really looking forward to it again.
Anyway they all deal differently, and suggest you bring how much you can spend in cash to be safe. Many take credit cards, and also many take personal checks as well. They also have a ATM machine there in the lobby but do not know what their fees are.
You will have to ask the ones you want to buy from how they will accept payment.
Have fun at a great knife show. You will really go crazy with all there is to see, and allow yourself plenty of time with 470 tables of knives there!!
Hope this helps.

You'll have a good time, it's a great show for sure :)

Last year, we took trading stock, cash, checks, and credit cards...all were used...lol

Example; we sold one knife/used that money + a trade knife/to buy another knife that a guy wanted/to get the knife he was selling...and walked out the door with a mint low S/N 'amber stag' RMK mini #25 for a total cost to us of <$800...for a rare knife with a resell value of >$1200, so it can be done...and we had a hoot too! :D

We'll be there again this year, having fun, wheeling and dealing...lol

Hope to see you there...just look for the short fat guy with glasses in the Hawaiian shirt and blue fedora eating twinkies...that would be me ;)

Larry, looking forward to seeing you again buddy, we should have some more magazines for you, and are looking forward to meeting your lovely wife too...

Looking forward to seeing you, and your wife again. Do me a favor and save me another magazine(you know the one you write in) as I will need some excellent reading material while I am at the motel for the stay for the weekend. Will look you both up.
Thanks a bunch.

Larry
