Are there any knife shows in the St. Louis MO area, or midwest where I could see and maybe buy a blade from Busse or Swamp Rat....or other high quality dealers??? Thanks for any help.

Is this a pubic show? Why would you have him PM you? I'm sure there are other people that would like that information.

Mike is a moderator on the Busse forum, and also sells Busses at shows. He is extremely consciencious about keeping the WTB, knives for sale, etc. in the proper forums, and following forum rules about such. I would guess that he feels that self-promoting his own sales here would be iffy.

I, on the other hand, would post it if I had the info, because I would have no direct business interest in doing so.

I've heard nothing but positive comments on the Wanenmacher Arms Show in Tulsa, OK. I've never actually been myself :( but I've heard it's awesome. I'm trying to get my schedule fixed so I can go this year.

Knob Creek is this weekend and only about 3.5 hours from St. Louis. Swamp Rat and Busse will be there I'm told. ;)

Another one for the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot. Besides being a complete hoot, you can find just about anything at the three day Gun & Knife show there.

I just got back from the show in Bethalto, IL. There were only about 50 or so vendors (mostly Case collections) but there were a few really nice custom makers also (I'm really glad that I didn't have $6-7 hundred with me).

I did however, pick up a sweet BM 960-400 Black with White G-10 inlay (114/200) and only paid $100:)

The show is going on tomorrow also and the admission is only $2.00:thumbup:

I should have gone there today. I went by the Gun/Knife show in Overland. Maybe 30 vendors. Pure, unadulterated crap. Though I did consider buying a pre-'64 Winchester 94. Decided against it.

Where in Belthalto? (Like I know where Belthalto is anyway? )

Bethalto is just past Wood River. The show is at the KC Hall (400 north beau chateau, bethalto, il) Just do a mapquest and you'll get there easily.
