Are their any sites on the internet that have information on and about knives. I don't want a site that sells them, for that i got to knifezilla, i'm looking for a site that will educate me about knives, since i havent been collecting long enough to know about everything. A site that would tell me about the kind of knife BM makes, ect..

If there arn't any i think somone should make one, but if there is, please feal free to tell me them. Thanks.

Ps, my fingers are soaked in blood from practicing spins and throughs with my 31/2 folder. Since i don't have a Bali, it will have to do.

There's one really great site where 28,000+ people can give you all sorts of information and answer all your quesitions. They've got a really cool search feature which can usually scare up the answer to most questions. And you can't find your answer that way, then you can actually post a question and get dozens of replies. What was that url again...???... oh yeah:

I think you found it.....here!
Look around for a while, read threads, reviews, see what people are buying and selling on the exchange forums, use the Search function, and ask questions.

Oh wait, you already did that.

BTW, welcome to the Number 1 Knife Information site on the Net.
Kick off your shoes and sit a spell.
You're going to like it here.

The forums have a ton of information. Lots of cool folks that are willing to share information. Great source of knowledge here, i've lurked for quite a while.

Based on my experience, you've found it right here! Welcome to the forums.

Anything about knives, chances are someone here knows.

Or do a Google search for a particular knife or brand you're interested in. There are many websites with history and information regarding particular knives. You'll also find plenty of specs and photos at the manufacturers' websites.

I've never heard of knifezilla, but there are thousands of knife dealers online so I'm not suprised. Check out some of these sites for brands and models that knifezilla may not have:

www.eknifeworks.com
www.agrussell.com
www.knifeoutlet.com
www.newgraham.com

Stay with the Blade Discussion Forum and Knife Reviews & Testing for a while. Read all the threads, and you'll get a feel for the basics in a hurry. Then scan down the list of forums and pick out the ones of special, developing interest to you, like the Balisong / Butterfly Knife forum.

After that, you're on your own! :D

By the way, once you learn a bit about really good knives, you'll drift away from Knifezilla, anyway. Check out One Stop Knife Shop. That's the dealer that's behind Bladeforums and supports this website, and is always competitive, with great service and stock.

KnifeZilla sells a fair number of import junk knives. They are a reputable seller though, owned by the same guy that runs PVK. If you are really interested in getting good quality knives then I would recommend you look at other stores that carry better quality knives, and read around here.

Also, these forums are supported by 1 Stop Knife Shop , who sell plenty of great quality knives at competative prices. Check them out if just for information, and to deal with a good compnay.
