Last weeks episode of CSI had a Gerber folder on it. The main character, "Grissom" dug out some unburned gunpowder with it. They frequently have quick shots of knives. Any other recent spottings?

I'd sure like to know the maker of the knife that Tom Berringer carried in "Last of the Dogmen".

There was the MT Halo 2 on "24", the Protech X-Duke that Doggett carries on X-Files, Mulder packed a Gerber EZ Out... I can't think of any more off hand.

The blonde cast member (Major Carter) of "Stargate SG-1" whipped out what looked like a Spyderco Endura to open a box on last night's episode.

Hey Guys..

On Law and Order a couple nights ago,, there was either a spydie Police or a SS Endura pulled out of some dudes pocket...

I've seen Spydies on all kinds of shows including North of 60..

I even seen a Rambo knife in the movie Rambo First blood...:)

I was watching a repeat of Andromeda last night(married and a kid) and at the end of the show one of the characters is spinning a fixed blade on his finger. It's hard to see but it has a finger hole in the guard and was bead blasted.

I saw Cops last night and there was a Spyderco something.

Also I saw an ad for a movie. Martin Scorcese's "Gangs of New York".
It was set in the late 1800's (I think) and had lots of knives and axes in the previews I saw.

In one of the episodes of "24", someone pulls a Micro-tech Halo II on Jack. Jack disarms him, then even verbally identifies the knife, saying something like, "Investment bankers don't carry Micro-Tech Halo II's - how are you involved in this?"

I've seen a chef on the Food Channel whip out a folder at times. He travels the world and eats various odd cuisines... A still beating cobra heart, a duck cooked in a slimey lump of clay, etc... He also seems to smoke mucho cigarettes and get at least a little drunk on the couple of shows I've watched.

Not sure what kind of knife he uses.

I noticed in an "X Files" rerun that Scully sliced open a big cocoon with a person inside it, using a Buck 110 or 112.
