As the version indicates, this is a minor update, to solve the bookmarks export issue occurring in the latest Android versions.
Major upgrade is still in works, Web version completed, Android 80%, iOS is next, can't publish separately, has to go out all at once, hence the long delay. Developing for 3 different platforms is becoming really difficult for a single person these days.
Let me know if you encounter any problems.
What's new:
Important:
If you are simply upgrading the app, and have bookmarks in the current version, just proceed with the update, new version then can export those bookmarks to the new destination folder, Downloads/KnifeSteelChart;
If you need to import older bookmarks file into the new version, then:
a) create KnifeSteelChart subfolder under downloads folder on your phone if it isn't there already
b) copy your bookmarks file(s) to KnifeSteelChart folder
c) Proceed with import from the app,
You can also simply copy bookmark files into Downloads folder, in which case, on the import window simply navigate one level up, i.e. tap on .. at the top, bookmarks should show up there.
Please note, older versions of the knife steel app performed import/export using a different folder, which is no longer accessible via file browser built into the app, thanks to Google's new storage access APIs, hence the issues.
How to find the app on the market(if you don't have it):
1) Search for "knife steel chart"
2) search "pub:ZviSoft"
3) If you have barcode reader in your phone then use this QR code:
