Great app for anyone interested in the subject.
I downloaded it and glazed thru it.
Seems pretty user friendly and there are more types of blade steel than I can count.
Along with chemical comp, it gives a brief history and use.

I like cutlerylover, but didn't see the vid, a buddy told me about it.

Sorry man, I didn't know there was already a thread... Guess I should have searched before posting.

I am a machinist by trade and have cut all different kinds of metal.
It always fascinates me to see how similar steels with just slightly varying compositions can react so differently to the same parameters.
I'm kind of a geek like that and this app is one of the coolest ever, so I wanted to share it.
